Admit it, part of you wants to jump up and shimmy the moment you hear Hawaii Five-O's opening number, the way Nancy Kwan as a hippie does. Who can help it? It's catchy!
Interestingly enough, when we -- and by "we" I mean my sibs and a bunch of our friends -- were young kids, we took part in a pop-culture quiz. There was a "guess this soundtrack" question, and the minute it played, we went, "Ohhhhhh . . . !" We all knew we had heard the tune before, but for the life of us, none of us could figure out where from. It was, as you guessed it, the soundtrack to Hawaii Five-O, which none of us recalled ever watching or knew anything about. I think it's impressive that a tune from a show that was from way before our time managed to still carry on in our subconscious.
Anyway, that's enough digression! The truth is, I'm digging the Hawaii Five-O remake way too much, as it leaves me giggling with glee every two minutes. After realising that I couldn't contain all my comments into just tweets (plus I didn't want to spoil anyone who hadn't watched it yet), I decided to create this site so that share a play-by-play of each episode with you.
Trust me, once you get into the show, you'll see how it's impossible to resist.

I would recommend watching the show first and then come here for the recap, it gets even better that way. Please note that all I say here is totally tongue-in-cheek. I laugh because I love, and whatever makes me happy gets a full thumb's up from this girl.
